So Who is Erica Elle?

“Above all else, it is about leaving a mark that I existed: I was here. I was hungry. I was defeated. I was happy. I was sad. I was in love. I was afraid. I was hopeful. I had an idea and I had a good purpose and that's why I made works of art. ” ― Felix Gonzalez-Torres

A mastermind genius! Lover of black & white movies, snacks, coffee mugs, nap time, dry jokes, honest laughter...

fluffy and scaly animals, new adventures, Weeping Willows, The Breakfast Club (yep that's my favorite movie), paint splatters and 100 other random things I don't have time to name. Two boys call me mom, one guy calls me wife. My boxer is always by my side; and my tortoise is the most quiet thing in the house!

I am a Lawrenceville, GA based artist and designer with a focus in mixed media abstract art and wood stain portraiture. My creative expression started far from paint and canvas, but was always rooted in the need to create. At a very stressful point in my life I found myself in my garage with a paintbrush in my hand and no intentions of building a career. Four years later I am honored to have been featured in public and private collections across the country; win a few juried exhibitions; and most recently, featured in Atlanta Magazine HOME.

This journey has taught me in more ways than one that a little vision can go a very long way! It's why my goal is to be as intuitive with my paintings as possible. I want anyone who views my work to feel the energy I approached the piece with, and to be inspired in their own journey.

My husband and I are working on our first Children's book together, and I'm keeping busy with some new collections coming very soon. Thanks for stopping by!
